How to make/edit Splash Screen?

I've seen some really cool customized splash screens and I really want to make one by using my own idea (kinda excited about it too). Any tutorial about this? I've been searching about it but I can't find anything. Can you give me some lead or clue in making one? Thanks in advance.

After reading, I realized that this is the boot screen animation not the splash screen. Can you confirm this? I was asking for the splash screen

Yes, is a Bootsplash screen.
