As for "HowTo's" in general, you can just as well open a new thread in a forum sub-section and just write away. Many of us here do that all the time

The Community Portal is yours to modify. Don't hesitate to structure it and create a start page over there, with links to your tutorials. It's not there to talk or ask for help, it's there for you to use it as a reference.

For instance, you can modify the community portal page and make it point to sub-sections (pages that you create in the wiki) and have these sub-sections point to tutorials (wiki pages that you create to put your tutorials).

Well, enough said. It's your community portal after all

One thought though ... would it be possible to make some posts "sticky" in some forums? I think some of the how to's I linked to up there are really good and should be made "sticky" so they always remain on top ...

Yepp I saw that above, but there is no link on the homepage. There has been added Linux Mint support Centre but that does not link to a wiki

Note that there is a Navigation window on the left Husse. You can go to different pages from there.

The link to the wiki is on the top right of the homepage, just beside the link to the forum.

I suspect the navigation panel npap mentions is the one on the wiki, because I don't see any either on the homepage

The Wikimint is more or less like a quick reference to news, articles and how to's etc. And it's not for posting requests for help and other general stuff.
It won't replace the forum.
