How-to: installing the latest release of Shutter!

Shutter, a feature-rich screenshot application, just released it's newest version: Shutter 0.90.1.
This latest release comes with a lot of bugfixes and updated application icons.

To get the latest release under Linux Mint:

• Open a terminal
• Type the following command:

  Code: Select all

  sudo add-apt-repository ppa:shutter/ppa

• Follow the instructions as shown in the terminal
• Type the following command:

  Code: Select all

  sudo apt-get update

  Code: Select all

  sudo apt-get install shutter

• If instructions are given in the terminal, follow the instructions.
• Close the terminal when finished

Shutter can be found under: Menu > Accessories for both Cinnamon and MATE.
