Help With Linux Mint 4.0

Postby chalupa on Fri Dec 26, 2008 1:04 am

so.
i got this boot disk from a magazine a while back.
i installed it, realized it wasn't for me so i tried to uninstall it like i did with ubuntu. that didn't work so i contacted the magazine that distributed it, who said to contact you guys for help.

so here i am.

i have it on a 125 gb hdd by itself, which dualboots with windows xp that is on a seperate 500 gb hdd.
i can't reformat the hdd that linux is on because when i installed it, it caused the entire hdd to disapear from everything in windows.

so... help?
://

i'd like to keep it for xp, and maybe partition part of it for ubuntu.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

If your only problem is partitioning, try the Parted Magic Live CD:

Oh I see, the problem that your having is that you cannot see the Linux partition in Windows. You will have to install this driver to see it:
