Sorry but it didn't work for me.... I look forward to it working because it is a pain to use audacity as a second step to get mp3 files.

You can also rip to MP3 with Kaudiocreator, make sure you have lame installed and select lame as the engine in Kaudiocreator.

BTW, I use k3b to rip my MP3's ... works great.

What exactly isn't working for you?

I was trying to do this in Bianca, but without success. Indeed the mp3 option was not listed in the drop down box. Your instructions did the job; well set out and clear.

I followed your Bianca How To and it worked well.

Thank you for this as it will be a time saver for me.

Try Asunder instead, you can select from 65-245 bitrate.
