I'm new to Linux. I need help on how to connect to a shared windows folder in the network. (I believe samba is installed by default in Gloria?)
In windows I just type this command in the run command: ex. \\computername\networksharedfolder and viola I can access the files instantly (that is if I have the necessary permissions).
I would like to know where in linux can I do this kind of command? I tried using the terminal but failed to access the folder in the network. I experimented with Mint, made a shared folder located in my Mint desktop and accessed the shared folder successfully using my Vista machine. I even made the shared folder permissions full access to everyone and I still can't access the folder from Mint.
Any help and guidance is highly appreciated.
btw: I'm starting to love Linux Mint. Nice work guys.
