How to Install flash and Java on AMD64 laptop

I have an AMD64 laptop, so when I installed Bianca it came with a 64-bit firefox by default. I found out that Macromedia flash does not have a 64-bit flash yet, so first I need to install 32-bit Firefox instead and then only I can install flash player. I have found some useful links in ubuntu forums on installing 32-bit firefox, but is there any one of you linux mint users who have tried doing it.
