The complete Open Office 2.1

Postby tomcat1965 on Tue Jan 02, 2007 10:02 am

If anyone wants the rest of Open Office 2.1 and needs the .deb files I have made some for the complete suite, just point your browser at this URL (Linuxtracker) http://linuxtracker.org/torrents-details.php?id=3349 and use your favorite BitTorrent client to download.
Open Office don't provide .debs for Open Office and there are none in the Ubuntu repositories so I made some.
Enjoy.

You can use another method to install the latest packages (including OpenOffice 2.1):

Why Open Office ??

Postby maadamos61 on Mon Feb 05, 2007 12:35 am

I wonder why a distro as important as Debian is not 100% usable/compatible with Open Office? I wonder which distros are supported? The sooner the new union of Linux folks come together the better for those who do not want to be sown into something proprietary.
However Keep up the good work so far.
