How to create an icon link to Mint Welcome.

I liked the Mint Welcome screen that popped up at start-up but didn't like it at start-up all the time. Unfortunately, there isn't a link to get you there if you disable it at start-up. This tutorial will show you how to create a link that will let you access it when you want it.

1. From the desktop, right click and select “create launcher”. A small window will pop up.

2. In “name”, type “Mint Welcome”. In “command”, click “browse” and navigate to “file system>usr>bin>mintwelcome”, then click on the red rocket icon. This will allow us to change the icon. Click on the “gnome-info.png” file and you will get an icon clearly appropriate for the file.

I put my link on my panel at the bottom of my desktop by just dragging and dropping it there.

Hope this was useful.
