update to 10
I just reinstalled Linux Mint, but it was Linux Mint 9. How can I upgrade to Linux Mint 10?
Re: update to 10
If you just installed and havent migrated any data over its likely best to download the CD or DVD ISO of Julia and (Fresh) reinstall.
If you want to package upgrade (not recommended by Clem) there is a tutorial here : http://community.linuxmint.com/tutorial/view/62
Basically point your software sources isadora to julia and lucid to maverick
then run
then
and finally

Re: update to 10
ok thank you very much. I went ahead and downloaded Linux Mint 10 and went on my roommates windows computer to run unetbootin to install linux min 10 on my flash drive so then I could install it onto my hdd. (I don't have a optical drive). But when I go to boot into Linux Mint from my flash drive, it just keeps relooping on the bootloader. I think unetbootin does not support Linux Mint 10 yet. Is there a way I can install it onto my flash drive first then install from "the tour" onto my hdd. (thats what I did with 9).

You need to download the latest unetbootin from the site. I use unetbootin 494 and its fine.
