I have the same problem - can anyone offer a solution? What I really need are the names of the file that associate commands with the menu items, so that I can the existing command with 'xscreensaver-command -lock'.

That was the plan but all my PC spare time is spent making themes these days, which is more fun for me

I'm also mainly using Pangolin and spend most time with Gnome Shell though still enjoying and following Cinnamon.

A project like this is really best done as a community effort with a few knowledgeable editors rather than a one man forum post with user suggestions and additions, but currently there is no official wiki or something similar where a comprehensive community built guide could be maintained

If my creative itch gets a bit less itchy I'll put together a Mint 13 Cinnamon Tips & Tricks Guide.
