Mint 13 won't load

Ok I downloade and burned Mint13. When you reboot to start the install process it just conts down and that is it. Next the screen is grey and with a blinking cursor... I tried and successfully installed it on my daughters machine (64bit) Next I burned another copy from her machine, and used her burner to see it I was having any issues with mine.. Nope I get the same thing when using hers.. This is frustratin, how can you burn and install on one machine but not another.. My machine is a lot faster than hers.

Could you please provide more info? Like, machine specs, video card especially. Also, I don't understand what you mean by "counts down". Do you get it installed then it won't boot or you can't install? The video card info is especially important.

AMD Athlon 64x2 4800+Toledo 2.4ghz, Nvidia Gforce GTX 550 Ti Fermi 4GBS Corsair XMS Extreme PC3200.

What I mean by count down. The Linxu Mint log shows, then it says "will install in" it counts down 10-0 then the screen changes to a grey background with a blinking cursor, in the uppper left hand corner of the screen...

Problems solved.. I did some research and found another poster here with the same problem.. I took out my new GTX 550TI, reinstalled my old 9800GTX+ and it loaded. For anyone with a new video card having the same issue I suggest putting back in you old (if you still have it). Load Mint 13 install the new card again, update drivers and you should be good to go..
