Make a "more portable" LiveCD + questions

Postby monsefoster on Mon May 07, 2012 10:46 pm

Hi! I'm a new user of Linux Mint, and i'm trying to make a LiveCD, well, i did made it. But since i installed the DVD even though i deleted most of the software i didn't need, the ISO created by remastersys its about 986MB. Is there a way to shrink it into 700MB but still being a liveCD?
Do i need to keep uninstalling things?
The liveCD should have wifi support, plus adobe flash player, firefox, java and codecs installed.

Do all the liveCD's give you an option to install? Can you remove that option?

Thank you in Advance.

You can do that, just remove big apps on synaptic (go to the installed section, and sort them based on their size, remove the big one if you dont need them)
