Flash dont work/Mint 9

Mint 9 installed for my friend from the same image, like for my self before, and my works OK. We want to stay in LTS.
In he`s Firefox 12 Shockwave Flash-plugin missing, and in Chromium YouTube tells "missing plugin."
Ideas?
don't think too much about nothing and everything
