copy LM4.0 and all settings onto a new computer

i have a laptop with LM 4.0 on it and i have it all customized, and updated. i have a desktop at home that i want to put linux, but i dont want to make a fresh installation, and have to customize it. so can i make an iso, or something of the copy on my laptop, and copy all of my settings, and account over to my desktop. to dual boot xp and LM. the other reason is that the desktop has no internet connection, so i cant update, or download apps.

install that and choose backup files and settings. It makes a live disc of everything in it's current state then. Just burn it to a dvd or cdr when it's ready. Dont stop it in the middle of making the process. That's just a mess
