Partitioning query

Postby idiotkiwi on Mon Feb 12, 2007 1:44 am

I am trying to follow Skorp's recommendation on partitioning. I have 2 drives 1 old 8 gig with Win98 plus 1x 160 Gig on which I have an incomplete Win98 SE (to replace the old disk) plus Mint.
I tried to add partitions to the 160 drive for "Home" and for trying one other distro for experience. GParted tells me I cannot have 3 Primary partitions on the 160 Gig drive. (Win98. plus Mint plus whatever and home in an extended partition. Should I disconnect the old drive and try again.

Guidance appreciated. thanks
