PC restart when choosing Mint in Grub

Hi

I've had a strange problem for some time now. When I get to grub during boot, and I choose Mint from grub menu, PC reboots about every second time. This doesn't happen with my other OS'es (M$ XP and PCLinuxOS), only with Mint 4.0. Mint has been reinstalled recently, problem still comes after fresh install. Different hard drives, different HDD for MBR and grub-install, nothing helps. I guess maybe some hardware disagrees with Mint, or the other way around, but my system is quite standard (Intel P35, nVidia graphics, normal stuff). Any ideas?

And after the reboot can you boot normally?
Agree that it does not seem to be hardware by the first look, but it may be something odd going on in the BIOS....
