Hi,

I could not install Mint XFCE version in an old machine since it could not run the live CD due to low capacity of RAM (128 MB). Is there anyway that we can install mint from command line eliminating the need to run the live CD first.

As far as I know there is no CL install option for Mint currently. I think your best option atm is to upgrade your ram, you get ram at a very reasonable price, the cost of ram atm is very low go to Newegg and look at the prices, you get 1gig of ram for under $30 US, this will not only allow ou to boot from the cd, but you will notice much much better performance on your system as well.
