Similar issue. Installed mInt 14, rebooted, updated, installed some apps, etc, booted back into windows to play a couple games, went to boot back into mint the next day, and all I get is the blinking cursor. Never had this prob before, and rather stumped. Already re-installed and did the same, only for the same thing to happen. My mint install is useless/inaccessible. Most displeased. Windows was meant to be my fallback, not my main OS, but this gives me little choice. :/
If you accept - and I do - that freedom of speech is important, then you are going to have to defend the indefensible. That means you are going to be defending the right of people to read, or to write, or to say, what you don't say or like or want said.
