Sounds very much like you got a bad DVD burn or iso download.
Did you check the MD5?
Should be

I just downloaded and installed this iso yesterday with no issues.
Burn iso at slowest speed possible and verify burn if your software will allow.
Perhaps, try again....

Hi,
I installed the md5sum on my winxp sp3 and the iso was checked with same code: 7dbe747bacb4200bb078cf84fe17faa2
Please, which the iso burn that you use? Some configuration must be configured?
I tested with UltraISO 9.3.6 and 9.5.3 versions with no success.
Thanks,

I used xfburn (Mint xfce...its in the repos), but I have used Brasero, and K3B (all Linux apps). Burned many isos with no problems (as long as the MD5 checked).
Are your using the burn as image (.iso) function of your software??
Burn at SLOWEST speed available.
No, there is nothing to configure, just burn as image, and boot.

Hi,
I'm using windows xp sp3, I can't to install this linux burn apps.
I checked my iso using md5sum -b on cmd dos and the code is correct.
Yes, I'm using the burn as image option and write at 2x speed, no success.
I already installed the linux 13 maya mate 32 bit version to test and no problem, I think there are something different on linux mint 14 boot.
Now, I will to install the linux mint 13 maya mate 32 bit on RAM to try write this iso image.
Thanks for your reply!
