What's this on My Computer in Win 7?

Alrighty, so a while ago I decided to dual boot Linux Mint 13 alongside the Windows 7 I already had on my laptop.
My laptop is the HP G60-635DX.
Well, I booted Linux Mint 13 from a livedisk that I burned myself.
All is well.
Now, whenever I head onto Windows 7, this is what "My Computer" looks like. I included a screenshot of it.
What is the BD-ROM Drive involving Linux Mint installation?
This always shows up, even when nothing is connected to the laptop (USB's, CD's, etc.)
Can I get rid of it?
What is it?
Help!!

A simple google search on BD-Rom drive would have answered your question.
https://www.google.com/search?q=bd-rom+ ... qdr:y&aq=t
The likely explanation would be that you installed virtual drive emulation software such as Daemon Tools, Alcohol 52%/120%, or PowerISO (or another disc-burning software that has drive-emulation capability).

In most cases depending on the version and program used, a virtual drive is added automatically after install.
And is a Windows issue.
