Hi.

Is there any installation list that can guide me to install Linux mint on a laptop that only have a CD-Rom and cant boot from its USB port?

Another option is to try the free Plop bootloader. It will allow older PC's to boot from USB. I've used it once with great success.

Thanks, I mananged to borrow a DVD drive that fitted in the CDrom slot. Now it works.

But. Is there anybody here that can help me to find out what type of graphics card there is in my laptop? I seached everywhere, and can't find anything about it.
Its a Packard Bell iGo modell Mit-WEA01. I think there is some kind of VIA system on this laptop, but dont know any chipset.

Please help me, so I can get the driver for it. (WinXP) It seems that Linux Mint uses a standard driver.
