i've installed Bianca off the Live CD; all seems well.
I wanted to upgrade my alsa driver to run my HP dv200t. I've done this before more than once, each time a release candidate is published. Since installing Bianca the ./configure process reports an error:
john@john-laptop:/tmp/alsa-driver-1.0.14rc2$ sudo ./configure --with-debug=full --with-cards=hda-intel
Password:
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.
I've looked at the config.log but it means nothing to me. I've upgraded the headers thinking this might be the problem but made not difference.
Advice is appreciated.
Regards John
