Mint 14 x64 Cinnamon Install Hangs

I've installed Mint 9, 10 and 13 in the past without issue.

But 14 x64 Cinnamon will not install.

I have the iso with the following MD5: 1B103578411B421CC012CDDF3253E32C

I have burnt the image to DVD and USB.

Both media will boot and run the live OS.

Both media appear to hang immediately after double clicking the Install Mint CD icon on the desktop.

The loading icon just spins without any further activity.

I noticed that some people had experienced a hang due to the slideshow, which I removed just in case, but that didn't help.

Is there anything else I should be looking for to assist the install ?
