Unable to install LM13 LTS on IBM x3400 m3 server

I have been unable to install LM13 KDE LTS 64-bit on an IBM x3400 m3 server, which is a UEFI system. Would this problem be alleviated by installing LM 14.1 instead of LM13? Even if this is so, I was hoping to install LM13 because of LTS. In addition, it seems that there is not a KDE version of LM 14.1 at present. Will there be a KDE version of 14.1? Thank you.
