Get linux to boot inside another partiton

Postby -mathsLin on Sun Feb 10, 2013 8:30 am

I created an extension partition and inside this I made a swap partition and a Mint 14 one.

How do I get linux to boot now?
What is the advantage of having these 2 partitions inside the extended one?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

use the something else option.

See http://youtu.be/kBrRL6iG0NM using the installer (ubiquity) after setting up your partitions. Or installing over an existing install partitions. or How to dualboot Windows and Linux using a simple install. This is a simple standard install. http://youtu.be/lzXZpEWTApc
