Newbie Installation Help Needed

Basically, right now I'm using a Ubuntu 11.10 and Windows XP dual boot. I'm interested in switching to Linux Mint, but I have no idea how to get about doing that. Using logic, I've deduced that I should probably get rid of Ubuntu 11.10 first, so that I would be back to only Windows XP. Then I'd just need to download and reconfigure Linux Mint so that I can dual-boot it (I still need my Windows for games haha ).

Now, my question(s):

1. How do I go about removing Ubuntu 11.10 from my computer completely, so that I'm back to only Windows XP?
2. Is the Linux Mint istallation simple? I just download and install?
3. How can I configure Linux Mint so that I can dual boot (boot into either Linux Mint or Windows XP)?
4. Is what I want to do even all possible (probably, I'm just starting to increase my knowledge in computers and Linux so!)

The Mint installer will look after that for you. It will give you an option to replace Ubuntu.

It's best to carefully read what's on the screen while setting the install options, but yes, download and install is essentially it.

Again, the Mint installer should do that for you. If it doesn't, the forum is here.
