LM14 Live DVD will not boot. Even in compatibility mode.

I can't figure this one out. If I try to just boot the DVD, it hangs at a garbled up graphics screen after the LM splash screen.
If I pick compatibility mode, it loops forever with some errors that whiz by too fast for me to see them.
I'm running an AMD quad core 3.6, 4G of RAM, nVidia GT240, and have 6 SATA HDD.
Any ideas? I've tried multiple DVDs, drive works fine, I loaded Win7 on one of my other drives with no issues.
