Mint isn't installing from USB

I installed Mint 14 before using the Universal USB Installer, but for some reason it isn't working on a different computer, I get the Linux Mint screen with the memory test and other stuff, but after trying to run the demo I just get a grey screen with a blinking cursor in the upper-left. It just sits there.
Any ideas what's wrong?
