I don't know what I did....

I cannot reboot either from a terminal or from the log out menu; I get a blank screen while the computer is hanging somewhere between X and shut down. Any fix for this? Thanks in advance.

Samsung nc-10 net book, 2 gib memory, mint14 xfce4 nadia, linux 3.5.0-17-generic (i686)

What I have is a duel boot on this netbook.

Linux Mint Nadia XFCE on one partition,,,
Linux Fubuntu on the other partition...

The Fubuntu partition works fine with shut down, reboot, go to sleep what have you...That tells me the computer is fine.

The Mint partition however, shut down, go to sleep, log out and the rest all work. It's just the reboot that hangs. I get the signal on the black screen then...It's like the little guy inside the computer doesn't know what to do. so he just sits there! I have to 'hard shut down'.

I have been looking around and Ubuntu guys had that problem too. I think it's a bug but I'm not sure of that either.
