Where Mint install the grub?

The grub kernel can be installed either to the MBR of any drive or to the BR of any partition, depending on what your needs are.
This is selectable on Mint during the install routine on the live cd. When you get to that page it will be called "Advanced.' The button is in the lower right hand corner of the screen. You will recognize it when you see it.
