Yes. It will give you a few options, one of which will be to resize Suse. You can also choose to manually setup the partitions if you don't like what the partitioner suggests. I usually use gparted to do this myself. You cab boot the Mint live CD, and use gparted from the menu. Shrink Suse to the size you want, and create a new primary partition in the empty space. Ext3 is the most used filesystem. After it is done, write down the partition number, sda1, sda2, sda3? Then run the Mint installer, and tell it to use the new partition.
