Hi!:
i do need to uninstall mint and grub from the notebbok from work, i do have windows XP installed and used to use grub to choose from xp or mint, but i cant continue using ming in ths notebook, can you help me out?

Use Super Grub Disc to restore the MBR in XP, and just delete the Mint partition. Make sure that XP boots before deleting Mint. If you have the factory XP CD, you can also use it to repair XP's boot. http://supergrub.forjamari.linex.org/
