Strange startup behaviour on MINT

Postby Mintty on Fri Aug 23, 2013 4:12 am

I have been running mint on my PC for about a week now and have noticed something strange.

Most of the time when i startup, any external and internal drives are automatically mounted and i can even see their icons on the desktop.

but sometimes when mint starts up, these drives (which are still connected) are not mounted automatically - but are still visible under /dev/

Is there some sort of an issue here??

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Did you try and look in fstab?

Code: Select all
cat /etc/fstab
"The future is predeterment by those who shape it"
