Hello, yesterday i have downloaded&tried to install Linux Mint Cinnamon. However as i do not have a CD tray i just mounted the .iso image and ran the mint4win.exe. I had three options to choose from and i chose the first "DEMO and Installation". The installer worked its thing and i tried to restart the computer. On the Win8 boot menu i had two options 1. Win 8 and 2. Linux Mint. Linux Mint did not work. I also had to repair the Win 8 installation. After that i tried to install Linux Mint again by choosing to install it alongside Win8 as a standalone application because i thought that proper installation would help me to get things right. That didn't work either. After some experimenting with EasyBCD this night i formatted the whole partition of 900 GB and ran a fresh installation of Win 8 but the boot menu on startup still shows me the option for Linux Mint. Can anyone please help me or point to an existing thread, as i cannot find similar problems, just the cases where people installed Mint completely and now they want to remove it?
