Whwn I boot installed version(mint5), it stops after loading cdrom driver. If I use acpi=off or pci=noacpi switches, it steps two more lines then before (sth about clock) and stops...
my laptop has a BIOS bug, acpi not connected to 8.... timer or sth like that
