I'm pretty new to Linux, I just got finished playing around with Ubuntu.
I'm able to boot to the Mint CD and the Ubuntu CD with no problems.
In both cases I get the identical problem once I try to start the OS off the CD.
I've tried the option for compatibility, but that seems to change nothing except I can see a list of errors.
It's the same error repeating itself, I'm pretty sure it's pertaining to my cdrom drive.
Then this terminal input style comes up, called busybox.
Now the only reason I was able to install Ubuntu is because you can access the CD while in Windows and install onto your HDD.
I have a second HDD that I'm installing Linux onto. But Mint does not provide this, 'Install Inside Windows' option.
In any case I'd like to do a full HDD disk install, so that the space isn't capped at 30GB. (Ubuntu)
It's as if the bootcd is unable to mount my cdrom drive and then just gives up and goes super basic mode.
I know it sounds kinda funny, cause I'm using the cdrom drive to boot off the cd.
But when it comes to actually starting the OS off the CD, I get major failsauce
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
