Encrytion Logon Failure

Help. What am I doing wrong, or is it a bug, or both?

On June 4th I installed Qiana Mint on my Thinkpad Edge E420 64bit laptop. I thought I'd experiment so I installed with full disk encryption. No problems until – there were.

5 times now, decryption has failed at login. Cycling through recovery mode has solved this issue. The successful reboot lacks the video drivers, but functions well after the next reboot. At first, the problem occurred on the 1st reboot after an update. So I didn't install the update this time, thinking that might have somehow caused it.

This morning, it happened again. Yes, I'm backed up, but what a pain.

The first message is /bin/sh: [password] : not found
Then reverts to (initramfs)

Any thoughts?
