Hi,
I can't boot from the Bianca live CD, I've also had this same problem with the ubuntu 6.10 live CD.
When I try to boot from the live CD, I see the Mint Bianca boot menu and select boot from CD and after booting gets to the point where the progress bar begins to move, a load of text scrolls up the screen (too fast to read) then the system freezes with a load of text on screen; I've tried a few times and the text is not the same each time, but some choice bits that seem to have occured more than once are:
{O} kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interupt
{O} BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address ffffd320
I'm using a P4 processor 515 , 2.93 GHZ with 1GB DDR ram. This PC boots up fine into windows XP.
Thanks to anyone with any thoughts on this one.
