I'm sorry but image #2 with Super Grub is of no help - I can't read whats behind the blue line - I can see it says Elyssa, but...
From the first image I conclude this is not really an error in Elyssa
This is error 17 explained
17 : Cannot mount selected partition
This error is returned if the partition requested exists, but the filesystem type cannot be recognized by GRUB.
I guess you have menu.lst pointing at the Windows partition
Do you only have Mint on the same disk as Windows? Just asking to be sure, you indicate that
Does Windows start as normal Windows? Just asking to be sure again, you indicate that
Now what's on sda? Is sda always connected?
Coming this far I realize that it may be the problem described and solved here

Super Grub is good - I think you can use it to get it back to where it was before the problems
