Flickering Screen

Post by joeffel »

Hello. I've just installed Linux Mint 17 Xfce. Every time I boot the computer, my screen flickers after POST and distorted colors fill the screen. It lasts for probably less than a second. Everything is normal during and after the Linux Mint splash screen though. Why is this? Is this perfectly fine?

Hi, can you post the output of the following terminal command:

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxz
It sounds like it has to do with your graphic card/GPU.
