RAID 1 HDD incorrect size detected

Post by Kurt_Aust »

System specs:

i7-5930K CPU
ASUS X99-E WS MotherBoard
Intel 750 series 400GB NVMe PCI-E SSD
2* 5TB Toshiba HDD in Intel RAID 1

Intended storage arrangement:

Intel 750
. 32GB Swap
. remaining 340GB as root (/) partition

2* 5TB Toshiba
. RAID device 1
. . 256GB for alternate operating systems
. RAID device 2
. . 4.2TB as /home partition

However the installer and Gparted only see RAID device 2 as 305GB.

Any ideas as to what might be going wrong?
