OK so I am having trouble loading Linux onto my computer I put in the disk and it booted up then in the loading screen it will load about 1/8 of the way and I get a pretty long error so here it is

preparing restricted drivers... [ok]
setting the system clock
Starting basic networking... [ok]
Starting kernel event manager [ok]
loading hardware driver...
edevd-event[4363]: run-program: '/sbin/modprobe' abnormal exit

/etc/rcS.d/S10udev:105: usplash-wright: not found
/etc/rcS.d/S10udev:105: readlink: not found
segment fault
/etc/init.d/rc: 372: sh: not found
/etc/init.d/rc: 372: sh: not found
segmentation fault
segmentation fault
/etc/init.d/rc: 372: /ext/rcS.d/S17procps: not found
init: rcS main process(3824) killed by SEGV signal
init: unable to execute "/bin/sh" for rc-default: no such file or directory

First thing I would do is check the MD5 of your .iso file to make sure it is OK. I would also consider downloading again and re-burning the CD as slooooooooooow as you can bear. Sometimes burning an iso of a distro quickly can introduce errors. Try a 4x as a maximum.
less is more, but more more than more is, so more is less less, so use more less if you want less more, more or less.
