GRUB messing up drives...

Postby poltiser on Sun Jan 11, 2009 4:22 pm

I install (fresh) Mint 6 AMD64, and after upgrade I discovered that I can't boot into it. I found that in grub menu.lst the drives were changed with switched names. My system has 3 HD: sda, sdb, sdc and sdc was switched with sda...
After correction everything works well (with exeption to aiptek-nisis tablet - another post)...
It used to be like that with installers of ubuntu and other distros, but more than 1 year ago...
Can I do something to avoid problems with new updates? :?:

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.
