LiveCD boot problem

Postby EirikSor on Tue Jan 20, 2009 6:43 am

Having a problem booting the linux liveCD.
I'm new to linux and thought I'd try dual booting Linux Mint with XP.
So, downloaded linux mint and burned it to a CD using DVD Decrypter. When I try to boot linux from the CD I get past the part with the countdown but then I get an error message saying:
Loading isolinux: Disk error 80, AX = 4210, driver 9F

Boot failed: press a key to retry

Could this be a problem with the burning process?
Anyone who can help?

Thanks in advance

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

hi, why did you use a decryption tool?

if you have loaded the *.iso file, u can burn it with Nero or other programs just selecting it via menu, and then u get a bootable CD :D
