Before installing: Partitioner won't stop "scanning disks"

Postby CJ Master on Tue Jan 27, 2009 6:19 pm

Hello!

I'm attempting to install Elyssa through the Live-CD. I double clicked install, put in USA keyboard, ect.. then when it shows the dialog box "Setting up the partitioner" it's stuck at 46% (the scanning disks part.)

I have beyond enough specs for install. I have two hard drivers, I'm attempting to install this on my SSD (which it's using right now - I can tell because my computer doesn't make the scratching noise).

Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks! :)

Oookaaay... no replies... :?

Well I tried using Linux Mint 6, and to my surprise it works! However, when I try to boot into it, it either doesn't boot (gets stuck at loading bluetooth) or runs excrutiatingly slow. I can boot off the CD just fine in compatability mode. :|
