German Translation missing solved

Postby belzebub on Thu Jan 29, 2009 4:33 pm

Hi,
a few days ago i installed Mint 5 Elyssa on my daughters brandnew PC ( AMD ). After the install from my CD, i got all the updates from the update manager, surplus apt-get update/grade. Finally evrything seemed to be onboard on behalf of the fully german translation. So now half is english, half is german.
Someone can tell me how to install the lang-pack, and where to get it from ?

thx,

Control Center > Language Support > mark German and when you click Apply/OK missing language packs will be downloaded and installed

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
