Can't install KDE Bianca or Gnome Bianca

Postby norman velazquez on Sat Apr 21, 2007 6:02 pm

System: Asus MB P5LD2-VM Green
CPU: Intel Core Duo 2
Memory: 1 GB (512 x 2) PNY DDR2
HD: 320 Gb Western Digital
Power Supply: HN302 Antec 550w

The problem I'm having is that I can't install any version of bianca. I tried downloading the gnome version, kde and kde mini and can't get them to install.

The installer goes well until the time when it installs grub and then it fails (KDE) in gnome it crashes half way.

I was able to install the Kubuntu 64 live cd and I'm currently writing this from kubuntu. The problem is I like the kde menu as well as the gnome menu you guys have developed and the slick interface that you have created. Please help me. If I can't solve the installation problem is there anyway that I can install the menus in Kubuntu or Ubuntu 64?

Thanks.
