triple boot Mint 6 - XP SP 2 - Windows 7

Postby lbonvarl on Sat Mar 07, 2009 5:16 pm

Hi,
I am to Linux Mint and I love it. I installed over an existing Windows 98 install on my primary partition, a windows XP (sda6) on another partition and Windows 7 (sda7) on a last.
Here is an overview of my partitions and current grub config which don't work for xp / W7.
Any suggestions for updated GRUB entries ?
Thanks,

Does this work?
Code: Select all
title      title Windows XP
root      (hd0,5)
savedefault
map      (hd0) (hd0,5)
map      (hd0,5) (hd0)

hummm... Booting a logical Windows partition that follows a primary partition. I wish you luck. I have never been able to make this work in grub.
