First, I installed Linux Mint 6 on my second partition. Then I installed Windows XP Pro with SP3 on the first partition. Then I installed Vista Home Edition over that, being unhappy with XP Pro. Afterwards, I could not boot Linux Mint because (I think) the boot loader had been deleted. I thought that a Fresh install of Linux Mint 6 on the second partition would restore my boot loader. It did, however, when I boot windows, it brings me back into grub at the same menu that I had just chosen to boot windows from. Does anyone have any idea what may have caused this?
